Day 4 - Fun in the Sun

Today we had a "relaxing" day as the days ahead of us will feel like.  

Early wake up call for a breakfast at 6:45 a.m. to catch the 7:30 ferry to Aegina.  On the ferry, some of our kids were also treated like movie stars when some tourists from South Korea wanted to take pictures with us!  Once on land again, we made our way our way to our beach and it didn't take long for everyday to wade out into the Mediterranean to cool off and play some killer volleyball games.   Please ask your kids about any nicknames they may have picked up today, as there were several.

Aegina is the Pistachio mecca of Greece - so we did do some pistachio tasting while walking about the town.  Lots of yummy treats!

We had lunch at the beach at the Tabepna Sipaingos and then headed in the quaint town and did some shopping, tried some pistachio ice cream, some took horse-drawn carriage rides and others rented 4-seater pedal cars.

Then back to the ferry to the hotel for dinner and bed.  While it doesn't sound like a lot - everyone is exhausted and looking forward to a new adventure tomorrow!

PS:  Approximately 4094 steps - but not truly accurate today since we played in the water most of the time.
